Luigi Frullini Hand Carved Savonarola Chair

Authentic 19th century Savonarola Chair attributed to the great Luigi Frullini. The chair consists of a one piece wooden arched back rail that includes the arms, hand carved with 10 fantasy figures as well as numerous bellflowers, acanthus leaves, etc.The seat has an intricate carved decoration. One of the high points of the chairs one piece construction are the two rings seen on the end of the arms, that were actually carved in place. The wood used in construction of the chair is walnut, as typically seen in other gothic and renaissance furniture.

Luigi Frullini Italian Renaissance Figural Arm Chair

This is an authentic 19th century Hand Carved Arm Chair attributed to the great Luigi Frullini (Italian, 1839 - 1897). This is an Italian Renaissance style figural arm chair which consists of a massive one piece back, including the arms. Entirely hand carved with an assortment of fantasy figures that includes dragons, gargoyles, and mermaids, as well as a nice selection of decorative scrolls, feathers and acanthus leaves.The seat is upholstered with a peach colored velvet material.The bottom support structure, including the legs, the x-cross brace, and the apron are all hand carved as well. The legs each have a fascinating carved face, and there's a gargoyle with goats ears prominently featured in the center of the apron. The wood used in construction of the chair is walnut, and it practically glows with a dark, rich patina.

Luigi Frullini Museum Quality 5 Foot Figural Bench

This is an authentic 19th century Hand Carved Bench attributed to the great Luigi Frullini (Italian, 1839 - 1897). This 5 foot long bench is in the Italian Renaissance style and it is decorated with figural carvings that will amaze and delight you. There is a massive finial topping the back, decorated with large scrolls, acanthus leaves and a relief portrait of a young girl in the center. There is a gargoyle inspired face on the end of each armrest, and leonine relief heads in the center of each of the x-brace on the sides. The apron has a carved fantasy face as well. The seat and the back are upholstered with floral patterned material. The wood is walnut with a dark, rich patina.

Luigi Frullini 19th Century Writing Desk

This is an authentic 19th century Writing Desk attributed to the great Luigi Frullini (Italian, 1839 - 1897). It is beautifully figured walnut desk with hand carved figural decoration consisting of 2 fantasy faces on the side panels and 2 more relief carved faces on the cross beam support in the middle. The pair of faces on the side panels form an optical illusion, in as much as they can be viewed as an entirely different face upside down. The side panels also include various flowers and leaves.The wood used in construction of the desk is walnut,with a dark, rich patina.
Measures: 31 1/2" Tall X 34" Wide X 22" Deep

ANTIQUE MRS ELLEN HALE'S HEAL-ALL OINTMENT POT LID THAT FEATURES A WONDERFUL PORTRAIT OF MRS. E. HUMMERSTONE ON THE LID. THE POT AND LID ARE WHITE WITH BLACK TRANSFER IMAGE, NICELY AGED WITH THAT CREAMY PATINA YOU ONLY SEE IN 100 YEAR OLD PORCELAIN. BY THE WAY, THE IMAGE IS EXCEEDINGLY STRONG. IT'S A GREAT OLD HISTORIC PIECE.
